Lanham has been doing business in Cincinnati since 1985. It was the second facility to open as Lanham has expanded throughout the tri-state area. Facilities include more than 27,000 of office and warehousing space.

My responsibilities at Lanham Hardwood include providing quality service for all your hardwood flooring needs. My favorite part of working for Lanham is simply knowing how well they take care of their employees and how they focus on individual needs.
My favorite hobby is to go backpacking, and really anything that involves being outdoors.
I am part of the Customer Service team at Lanham’s warehouse facility located in Fishers, IN.
The things I like most about Lanham is their commitment and desire to be genuine partners on all levels from their employees to their customers. I also appreciate how management and co-workers have taken time and effort to work with me on learning all aspects of hardwood flooring.
Outside of work, I am a Detroit Redwings fanatic. I also enjoy camping, fishing and generally just being outside.
My responsibilities at Lanham Hardwood Flooring include greeting and assisting everyone that walks in that walks in our door, answering the phone when it rings, and helping to put stock away when it arrives. The best part of working at Lanham Hardwood for me is actually two things: getting to work with the people I work with, and getting to learn about floors. Before working here, I never would have thought there was so much that goes into the process of making a beautiful hardwood floor.
Something interesting about me? Halloween its my favorite holiday. I love it, and can’t get enough of it. Sometimes, I call myself the pumpkin whisperer because every year I pick pumpkins that last for months after Halloween is over. It takes me 2 days just to get all of my Halloween decorations out! And, every year, I never fail to dress up for all the trick-or-treaters who come by my house.
My role at Lanham is to provide excellent customer service to our customers—by providing them with information about products and services, facilitating orders, and processing any returns. I enjoy helping our customers achieve their professional goals, and I like the family atmosphere at Lanham. Everyone is eager to help one another learn and grow.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My “hobby” is martial arts, with the following achievements:

I work with flooring dealers in Columbus, Ohio, promoting Somerset, Mullican and From The Forest hardwood flooring products. I enjoy developing partnerships and friendships with our customers. It is very satisfying when you know you just made their day better.
One thing I really appreciate about working at Lanham is that Lanham is a company committed to not only providing the best hardwood products, we are committed to providing the best service to our customers. Every one of them!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting, and camping.
My role at Lanham is to provide IT support to our employees and customers. I really enjoy the challenge of balancing challenging tasks. Taking care of customers’ needs as well as my fellow coworkers gives me a sense of pride in my work.
If I could sum up what I like most about Lanham, it would be loyalty. This company is focused on creating an atmosphere where all members of the team are treated fairly and with respect.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing billiards as well as computer programming. I am currently attending the University of Cincinnati, pursuing degrees in Cybersecurity and Software Development.

I am an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast. My favorite hobbies and pastimes are woodworking, home improvement projects and spending time with family and friends.
In my role at Lanham, I take care of customer billing and assist with accounts receivable. I’m currently in training to help out in customer service, as well. I love the family environment and the atmosphere at Lanham. I work with great people and have a wonderful office manager.
I’m involved with the charity “Bike to Beat Cancer” and enjoy biking and spending time with family.
One of the things I like most about my work at Lanham is the hundreds of people that I’ve met and helped over the last 15 years. I like that Lanham is employee-friendly, both at work and on a personal level, when necessary.
Outside of work, I volunteer at the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Indianapolis. I enjoy spending time with my wife, traveling, relaxing in our hot tub, and I’m a fan of the Louisville Cardinals.
My role at Lanham is to make sure customers have the best possible experience with Lanham, whether in the warehouse, over the phone, or via deliveries. I enjoy that there is always something new to do or learn every day, and I get to work with great people.
Away from work I volunteer for ModCon Living (formerly Rebuilding Together). I enjoy playing bass guitar, skiing, and disc golf.
My role at Lanham is to make sure our customers are receiving an above average experience every time they come in the door—right down to every last detail of their order. I like working with all the contractors that come in, as I have known many of them for many years and like to think a lot of them as not only customers, but friends. I like how Lanham stays on top of the many trends that are going on in our industry and moving with the times to make sure our customers have all the latest and greatest products out there.
I’m an amateur bodybuilder and enjoy weightlifting and fitness.
In my long-time role in customer service at Lanham, I simply like helping customers and appreciate the family atmosphere we have at Lanham.
I’m a deacon and choir member at First Baptist Church and in my spare time I enjoy deer hunting, car shows (I own a ’68 Chevelle), and UofK basketball.
In my position at Lanham, I am a buyer. I’m also responsible for inventory control, processing quotes, and coordinating shipping. I like the fact that I’m given the freedom to make decisions without being micro-managed. From day one, I knew that Lanham cared about their employees. It’s a family owned business that treats all employees like family.
I have been married for 14 years and have three kids. I enjoy working out, watching sports, spending time with my family and attending all my kids’ activities. I’ve been coaching football for close to 20 years at the youth, middle and high school level.
In my role in accounts payable I make sure our invoices and company expenses are paid, and all the detail that’s involved with that. I enjoy the detail. I like numbers and making sure things are balanced. I also like the fact that the environment at Lanham is friendly. They care about their employees and their employees’ families.
Aside from my job, I enjoy spending time with my kids, I enjoy the arts, listening to music, watching movies, going to concerts, and seeing plays.
As a Service Technician for Lanham, I repair machinery in a timely and efficient manner to satisfy the customer. I really enjoy working with Jim McDonald at Lanham, as well as the family atmosphere.
In my personal time, I like making things from wood, fishing, and family activities.
As controller at Lanham, I oversee financial reporting, health and business insurance, accounts payable, 401K, HR, banking, and other finance-related matters.
I like that I can make an impact in a small company environment. I try to be highly responsible to my coworkers (my customers!) and they rely on me for payroll, HR, medical insurance and other things that are personal and important to them. I try to make it a painless and positive experience for them. I greatly appreciate the culture at Lanham. Lanham takes care of their customers and employees with genuine interactions, respect, and goodwill. Everyone takes their roles very seriously, without being too serious. It’s a supportive environment and it shows in the lengthy tenure of many of their employees.
Outside of the office, I have been active with the cub scouts, little league organizations, church, and environmental causes. I enjoy biking, hiking, music and spending time with family and friends.
As Credit Manager, I manage credit and collections and supervise billing. I also purchase office supplies and other products, as needed. I assist in organizing company events and lunches, and contractor/vendor lunches. I really enjoy the interaction with our customers and our employees to resolve A/R issues. I appreciate that we are treated as valued and trusted employees. Our opinion matters. We are treated as family.
I have been active for many years in our local professional credit group. NACM — National Association of Credit Management and CFDD, Credit and Financial Development Division of NACM. Earned my Credit Credentials through this organization. I was also active for many years with our local Carmelite Monastery before it closed. I am still involved with the Carmelite Sisters in their retirement community.
I was honored as the Kentucky Shorthand Champion, and was recognized as an “Honored Volunteer” by the WLKY Bell Awards.
My favorite pastimes are writing short stories and reading. I enjoy historic biographies and watching classic old movies. I also enjoy pets, mostly of the feline variety.
I work with Lanham’s outside sales team, customer service team, credit manager, and purchaser to facilitate finding ways to help fulfill customer needs.
I like being part of a team that works together towards common goals. It is a great feeling to know that at Lanham we are making positive impacts on employees’ lives and our customers’ lives. Lanham Hardwood is an enjoyable place to work with great people. It really is a family atmosphere. I especially want to share that Lanham is an ethical company—one that does things the right way. We are open and upfront with people, which is so important. The Golden Rule—treating people the way you want to be treated—is practiced here. From the top down, we respect all people, employees, customers, and competitors.
I help support the community by contributing to United Way, local Food Pantries, and Public Radio. I also volunteer for marching band events and competitions and am involved in youth baseball. I enjoy playing basketball, baseball, running, hiking, and competitive board gaming.
As executive vice president of Lanham, I work to support a culture that puts building and maintaining great relationships within the flooring industry first. As we’ve continued to grow and expand over the years, one thing that has not changed is our “family environment” that includes customers, our employees, and suppliers. People really are first at Lanham.
I am actively involved in helping make sure the industry is successful. I currently serve on the following industry Boards: NAFCD (2017-2019); NACM (since 2016); and KCIT (since 2006).
I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my girls play their sports. I am an avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist. I have done triathlons, marathons, and other bike races. I also enjoy playing golf.
At Lanham my role is to provide customer service, support, and product knowledge to all my clients and educate them on all aspects of hardwood flooring. I enjoy new challenges and the opportunities to provide solutions to my customers on a daily basis. As far as the company goes, I really like the “people” at Lanham—from management to warehouse, we all have a common goal and believe that our customers’ needs are the priority.
Spending time with my five children and four grandchildren is my biggest passion. I also enjoy photography, home improvements, and local history.

I’ve worked in the flooring industry for more than 21 years. I enjoy working at Lanham because we are a family. We all work together. We all have the same goals. Everyone treats our customers like it’s their own assigned customer—even if they are assigned to someone else. One thing I like most about working at Lanham is the relationships I’ve made over the years with my customers.
Outside of work I enjoy gardening, working in the yard, playing golf, and watching my girls play volleyball.

I am a Lanham sales representative for Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family.
I am an outside sales representative for Lanham in the Indiana market. I like being the go-to person/company to call in the Indiana market about everything associated with hardwood flooring. Lanham has provided me with the knowledge and experience to communicate the technical aspects and trends of the industry. One of the things I like most about the company is Lanham’s commitment and desire to be genuine partners on all levels—from its employees to our customers. I have appreciated that they have gotten to know me as a person. They have interest and regard for me and my family.
Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, being outdoors, and sports.
In my role as operations manager at our Columbus distribution center, one thing I like most is the people I get to meet and work with—customers, homeowners, and coworkers!!!! Lanham has a great family atmosphere where coworkers are willing to help everyone out. We all work together to accomplish the same goals.
My favorite pastimes and hobbies are golf, bowling, and relaxing at the lake!
In my role as operations manager in Louisville, I enjoy assisting customers to achieve their goals. One of the things I like most about working at Lanham (for more than 31 years!) is the friendly work atmosphere.
When not at work, I enjoy family time, golf, deer hunting, and U of L Sports.
I am responsible for calling on flooring dealers and contractors in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. I educate customers about products, set up displays, and I ask questions to find out how Lanham Hardwood can help them be successful.
The best thing about working at Lanham is the people that I work with and the customers that I have developed relationships with over the years. I really enjoy the family atmosphere here, and the flexibility that I am afforded in my role.
I’ve been married to Karen for over 19 years and have 4 daughters—Hannah, Ella, Kate, and Sophie. I enjoy being involved at Southeast Christian Church in LaGrange, KY. I love watching our daughters run cross-country and track. Montana is where I most enjoy vacationing in the summer.
I work side-by-side with employees to provide flooring materials and technical help to our customers. I really enjoy the people I get to interact with everyday. We have a great group of employees that like working together to achieve a common goal of providing excellent customer service. I also have made many lasting friendships with our customers and suppliers.
The best part about working at Lanham is the family atmosphere. Everyone seems to care about one another and wants to see them succeed. It is awesome to work for a company that entrust the success of the company to its employees.
When not at work, I enjoy coaching my sons in soccer and seeing my daughter grow in her dancing. I love spending time with my family, hunting, and being in the outdoors.
